Savanna recently released its schedule for the upcoming football season.

With all games this season set for a 7 p.m. kickoff time, the Bulldogs will open the season Sept. 1 at Antlers before playing Sept. 8 at Porter.

Savanna’s first home game is scheduled for Sept. 15 against Wilburton and the District A-8 opener is scheduled for Sept. 22 at Warner.

The Bulldogs will play home district games Sept. 29 against Centrla Sallisaw and Oct. 6 against Quinton before an open date the week of Oct. 14.

Savanna will then continue league play Oct. 19 at Gore, Oct. 27 at Pocola and Nov. 3 at home against Talihina in the regular-season finale.

Last year, Savanna finished with a 6-4 overall record and a first-round playoff appearance.

Savanna lost District A-8 all-district offensive lineman John Impson to graduation, but return all-district co-linebacker of the year and special teams player of the year Christian Dalpaos — 95 tackles, five tackles for loss, one sack, four interceptions and two defensive touchdowns — as well as all-district co-defensive back Brayden Hoffman — 92 tackles, five tackles for loss and three interceptions — and running back Blake Cathey and defensive back Richie Williams, were both named all-district honorable mention.

The following is the complete schedule as released by the school. An asterisk denotes a district contest:

Sept. 1 — at Antlers, 7 p.m.

Sept. 8 — at Porter, 7 p.m.

Sept. 15 — vs. Wilburton, 7 p.m.

*Sept. 22 — at Warner, 7 p.m.

*Sept. 29 — vs. Central Sallisaw, 7 p.m.

*Oct. 6 — vs. Quinton, 7 p.m.

Oct. 14 — open
