At 4:30 p.m. Friday, Oklahoma City begins play in the NBA’s summer league in Las Vegas. Just in time, the Thunder know who’ll be available to put on the floor.
Just before noon Thursday, OKC announced its summer league roster.
Notably not on the roster is Hamidou Diallo, whom the Thunder traded for on draft night after Diallo became the 45th overall pick of the Brooklyn Nets. However, that’s to be expected, as the Diallo move cannot be made official, by league rule, until Friday.
Notably on the roster are the Thunder’s two second-round draft picks, Devon Hall, out of Virginia, the No. 53 selection, and Kevin Hervey, out of Texas-Arlington, the No. 57 selection.
A first-round pick prior to last season, who played in 61 games and started 12 for the Thunder, Terrance Ferguson is returning to summer league.
Others include center Dakari Johnson, who saw action in 31 games with the Thunder last season; Daniel Hamilton, who saw action in six; and PJ Dozier, who saw action in two.
The roster includes two internationals, Awudu Abass, a forward from Italy, and Michael Carrera, a Venezuelan who played college basketball at South Carolina.
Others include Deonte Burton (Iowa State); Justin Leon (Florida); Phil Pressey (Missouri); Richard Solomon (Cal); and Rashawn Thomas (Texas A&M-Corpus Christi).
