With the Position Round over on April 4, Team 4 and Four Fun faced off in the championship on Friday. Team 4, which entered the championship in first with a 46-18 record, continued its strong second half by beating Ed’ Choice for the title, 2,477-2,418.

Terry Martin, the Team 4 bowler who won the individual title with 18,273 pins, led all bowlers in the championship with a 643 scratch series. Bowling without a handicap, Martin was the only bowler on either team that averaged more than 200 pins per game.

The best handicap series in the championship went to Floyd Anderson of Four Fun. Anderson bowled a 575 scratch, but his handicap of 26 translated to a 653 series.
