Wilburton (6-4, 3-4) had a chance to get in the playoffs with a win and some help, but Hugo (7-3, 6-1) handed the Diggers a 40-0 loss on Friday.

The Cougars already clinched a district title, but routed Maud in the regular season finale.
Carson Thompson finished 10-of-15 passing for 200 yards and four touchdowns, adding three carries for 37 yards and two scores.
Terrell Crawford had five catches for 97 yards and two scores, while Jake Brewster caught three passes for 64 yards and a score, and Riley Burns added seven carries for 128 yards.
The Cougars also held Maud to just 76 yards of total offense.
