Basketball homecoming 2005-06 is set for Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Bob Brumley Gymnasium preceding the McAlester/Broken Bow game
There are three candidates for homecoming queen this year. They are Ashlea Barnes, Megan Henley and Destiny Jones.
Barnes is the daughter of Ranae Moody. She has been on the team for three years. She has also been a part of the MHS softball and track teams. Barnes plans to attend classes at Eastern Oklahoma State College. She will be escorted by Matt Collier.
Henley is the daughter of Karon McNeil. She has been on the varsity team for four years. She is also vice-president of DECA and active in the youth group at Wayland Baptist Church. She plans to attend Baylor University. Her homecoming escort is Grant Zellmer.
Jones is the daughter of Keith and Stephanie Eldridge. She has been on the team for three years, and also enjoys playing softball. She plans to attend Southeastern Oklahoma State University, and hopes to become a teacher and basketball coach. Her escort is Cory Allar.
The Junior homecoming attendant is Ryan Verner, daughter of David and Kari Verner, and the Sophomore attendant is Kyla Adams, daughter of Brent and Chris Wood, and Tim and Beth Adams.
LaNishia Henley will serve as flower girl, and Jett Wood will be crown bearer.
