The Canadian Cougars are set to host district play in the opening rounds of the OSSAA basketball playoffs.

The games have been set.

Multiple local teams learned of their playoff opponents when the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association released the postseason brackets on Thursday.

In Class 2A, the Hartshorne Miners will face off in the opening round against host Panama, with the winner set to play Haskell in the district title game.

Canadian received a bye, as well as hosting duties, and will play against the winner of the first-round game between Savanna and Oktaha. Meanwhile, the Wilburton Diggers will battle against Coalgate in the opening game, with the winner set to play Konawa.

Talihina will host foe Rattan, with both teams set to advance to the regional tournament.

In Class 3A, Eufaula will host Atoka, with both the Ironheads and the Wampus Cats advancing to the regional tournament.
