A woman died after being ejected from an SUV in a three-vehicle collision near Krebs on Monday, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
Donna McSpadden, 70, of Clayton, was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries sustained from being ejected from a passenger seat in a three-vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 270 near Krebs on Monday.
OHP Trooper Brad Dansby wrote in a report that an unknown vehicle and a 2008 Chevrolet HHR were eastbound on U.S. 270.
The report states the unidentified vehicle in the outside lane and the HHR in the inside lane.The unidentified vehicle merged into the HHR, which crossed the center line and struck the westbound SUV, the report states.
McSpadden was ejected from the SUV and pronounced dead at the scene, the report states. The drivers of the SUV and HHR were both listed in stable condition at McAlester Regional Health Center, the report states.
The report states seat belts were equipped and in use "by vehicle two only," referring to the HHR.
