Law enforcement officials said a Eufaula woman who died Friday after driving into a utility pole might have suffered from a medical condition.

Sharon Spencer, 67, was driving on Hieliger Road near Canadian when her vehicle left the road and struck a utility pole around 3:33 p.m. Friday, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.

OHP Trooper Brad Wilson wrote in a report that the incident occurred about six miles north and nine miles east of Canadian in Pittsburg County.

The report states Spencer was pronounced dead at the scene at about 6:14 p.m. by Pafford EMS due to a possible medical condition.

Wilson wrote the vehicle was going south on Hieliger road when it departed the roadway on the left and hit the utility pole. The report states the vehicle then pulled into a driveway.

The report lists the cause of collision as "incident/medical."
