A Jackie Brannon Correctional Center inmate is at-large.
Christopher Jacobs, 39, was reported missing at 10 a.m. Saturday from JBCC — a minimum-security facility in McAlester.
A Oklahoma Department of Corrections statement lists Jacobs as 6-feet tall and 185 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
According to information from ODOC, other facility inmates told correction officers that a vehicle picked up Jacobs and fled.
“As Jacobs is from the area where the prison is located, he may still be nearby,” ODOC Public Information Officer Matt Elliott said.
ODOC Fugitive Apprehension agents, JBCC staff, ODOC K9 units and area law enforcement continue searching for Jacobs.
Jacobs was serving a five-year sentence for auto grand larceny, false impersonation, and receiving/possession/concealing stolen property, according to the ODOC.
The public is advised to not approach Jacobs or attempt to apprehend him. Anyone with information can call our escapee hotline at 866-363-1119 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
