1 What is the Choctaw Nation Labor Day Festival?
The annual Choctaw Nation Labor Day Festival & Pow Wow will be held Aug. 29-Sept. 2, 2019 at Tvshka Homma, capital of the Choctaw Nation. The Choctaw Nation invites all visitors to enjoy tribal heritage activities, an intertribal powwow, Choctaw cultural exhibitions, stickball games, arts and crafts, free concerts and carnival rides. This annual event offers activities for all ages including sports tournaments, quilting demonstrations, live performances, buffalo tours and more.

The festival is free for all to attend.

Entertainers include Bogue Chitto, Neal McCoy, and Jake Owen on Friday; Braiden Williams, Hunter Hayes, and Kelsea Ballerini on Saturday; and Trevor McBane, The Dove Brothers, The Martins, Jason Crabb, and Zach Williams on Sunday.

Thursday: Choctaw Princess Pageant
Friday: 20th annual Pow-Wow, concerts, carnival.
Saturday: 5k, sports tournaments, buffalo tours, carnival, concerts.
Sunday: Golf tournament, gospel singing, Choctaw Nation Art Show, Choctaw Dancers, concerts.
Monday: State of the Nation Address, swearing in of tribal council and tribal judges, free lunch, carnival.
5 What are some of the festival rules?
No alcohol, drugs, or weapons are permitted on the festival grounds. No unauthorized golf carts and ATVs. No drones unless permitted by the Choctaw Nation Public Safety Department.
