McAlester Community Theatre is presenting the comedy Delval Divas in dinner theater Saturday and Sunday at The Meeting Place restaurant in downtown McAlester.
An all-female cast of six actresses is used for the production, according to director Shelly Walker.
Ages of the actresses range from 13 years-old and upwards.
Characters in the production are white collar criminals, for the most part, according to Walker, with a change thrown into the group.
“It’s age appropriate for anyone” Walker said, though adult audiences may understand the elements of the production more completely.
The MCC group has a new actress in this week’s production, Robin Glasgow. Walker is an experienced director of theater productions, having directed more than 20, in the time that she has been involved with theater.
Walker has a co-director that is also playing a role in the production.
Tickets are available now at The Meeting Place. Tickets may also be able to be purchased over the phone, based on Walker’s remarks, by calling 426-6416.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. for dinner buffet, and curtain time is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday evenings.
Front row seats for the dinner theatre production are $22.75, and gallery seats are $18.75 each.
