Tell us about your educational highlight, honor or accomplishment. What is it and how did you do it?

My two biggest educational accomplishments have been receiving my B.S. in Education from Northeastern State University and attaining a position working at McAlester High School. I accomplished these two by patience, hardwork and dedication. It is an honor to attain my degree from the best teacher program in the state and work for the best district.

Why is this accomplishment important for you?

I think it is of the utmost importance to get your college degree. It is important to me because I get the opportunity to have a positive impact on young people day in and day out. In my opinion, being able to call yourself a teacher and a coach is the biggest honor of all. I’m thankful that I get to work at a place with so many incredible educators.

How much did you have to work to accomplish this goal or honor?

I had to work everyday to reach these goals but any goals/honors like these take tremendous amount of self-discipline and work. It took a lot of late nights, patience, faith, and prayer.

What plans do you have for the future?

My goals are to begin working on my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership soon, continue to advance in the coaching ranks, also continue to positively impact as many young people as I can and strive to be a better teacher and coach everyday.
