A Jackie Brannon Correctional Center inmate who escaped Saturday morning is back in custody.
Law enforcement officers detained Christopher Jacobs, 39, late Saturday after he left custody of JBCC earlier in the day, Oklahoma Department of Corrections Public Information Officer Matt Elliott said.
Jacobs was reported missing at 10 a.m. Saturday from JBCC — a minimum-security facility in McAlester.
According to information from ODOC, other facility inmates told correction officers that a vehicle picked up Jacobs and fled.
Jacobs was serving a five-year sentence for auto grand larceny, false impersonation, and receiving/possession/concealing stolen property, according to the ODOC.
