Felonies

The following felony cases were decided in Pittsburg County District Court Oct. 14-19. Fines do not include any court fees  assessed.

• Olivia N. Hall, 26, Pittsburg, pleaded no contest on  Oct. 15 to charges of  possession of a controlled substance. Her sentencing was deferred for three years and she was fined $150.

• Keyvin D. Harrison , 20, McAlester, pleaded no contest on  Oct. 15 to charges of knowingly concealing stolen property. His sentencing was deferred for five years and he was fined $100.

• Darryl Jarvis, 22, McAlester, pleaded not guilty on Oct. 15 to charges of  malicious injury to property. His sentence was deferred five years and he was fined $100.

• James P. Spencer, 25, Indianola,  pleaded guilty on Oct. 15 to charges of burglary in the first degree, larceny from the house, and domestic abuse. He was sentenced to five years,  suspended.

• William W. Gower, 30, address unknown, pleaded guilty on Oct. 15 to charges of escaping from the Department of Corrections. He was sentenced to two years, to run concurrently with his prior sentence.

• Samuel G. Nava, 36, McAlester, pleaded no contest on Oct. 18 to charges of possession of controlled substance and driving with license cancelled, suspended or revoked. He was sentenced to five years, suspended and fined $250.

• Eugene Tillman, 30, McAlester,  pleaded guilty on Oct. 15 to charges of driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, failure to carry insurance and security verification form, and failure to stop at stop sign.  He was sentenced to five years, suspended, and fined $500.

Misdemeanor

The following misdemeanor cases were decided in Pittsburg County District Court Oct. 14-19. Fines do not include any court fees  assessed.

• Clint L. James, 20, McAlester, pleaded no contest on Oct. 19 to charges of transporting an open container of beer. His sentencing was deferred 30 days,

• Shannon Johnston, 40, Fouke, Ark., pleaded no contest on  Oct.19 to charges of driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs. His sentencing was deferred for one year, and he was fined $100.

• Chrissy L. Collins, 31, McAlester, pleaded guilty on Oct. 19 to charges of Larceny and obstructing an officer. Her sentencing was deferred for one year, and she was fined $100.

• John A. Boatner, 25, Savanna,  pleaded guilty on Oct. 19 to charges of driving motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, aggravated. His sentencing was deferred for two years, and he was fined $250.

• Jared R. Lyde, 37, Paris, Texas, pleaded guilty on Oct. 19 to charges of driving without a license. His sentencing was deferred for one year, and he was fined $100.

• David A. Johnson, 65, Eufaula, pleaded guilty on Oct. 19 to charges of reckless conduct with firearm and carrying firearm while under the influence. His sentencing was deferred one year.

• Erm R. Marquez-Mendez, 40, Oklahoma City, pleaded guilty on Oct. 19 to charges of driving without a license. His sentence was deferred for one year, and he was fined $50.

• Melvin D. Crabtree, 53,  Savanna,  pleaded guilty on  Oct. 19 to charges of driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, aggravated. His sentence was deferred for three years, and he was fined $250.

• Dennis Lumley, 23, McAlester,  pleaded guilty on Oct. 19 to charges of unlawful possession of CDs without a prescription, driving with license cancelled, suspended, or revoked, and defective vehicle. His sentences were deferred for five years and fined $50.

• Taylor J. Wisely, 20, Ft. Smith, Ark., pleaded guilty on  Oct. 19  to charges unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with license suspended. His sentences were deferred for one year and fined $100.

• Brittney M. Stuart , 23, McAlester, pleaded guilty on Oct. 19 to charges of driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs. Stuart’s sentencing was deferred for one year and she was ordered to pay a fine $100.

• Lyndsey R. Bennett , 27, McAlester, pleaded guilty on Oct. 19 to charges of driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, aggravated, and throwing litter from a vehicle. Her sentencing was deferred one year and fined $100.

• Jesse K. Jyles, 32, Hartshorne, pleaded guilty on Oct. 19 to charges of driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, aggravated, transporting open bottle or container of liquor, and driving without a driver’s license. His sentence was deferred for two years, and he was fined $1,000.

• Justin T. Joslin, 18, Pocola, pleaded guilty on Oct. 14 to charges of  driving under the influence by a person under 21. His sentence was deferred six months and he was fined $100.

• Ronald K. Grubb, 28, Blanchard, pleaded guilty on Oct. 19 to charges of driving under the influence of alcohol. His sentencing was deferred for two years and was fined $100.

• Tommy Conner, 34, Kiowa, pleaded guilty on Oct. 19 to charges of  domestic abuse — assault and battery. He was sentenced one year suspended, and he was fined $100.

• Jessie A. Cobb, 59, Hartshorne, pleaded guilty on Oct. 15 to charges of malicious injury to property. He was sentenced to one year, suspended, and he was ordered to pay restitution of $50.

• Charges of driving without a license were dismissed on Oct. 19 for Bryan W. Clark, 27, Clayton.

• Charges of  driving without a license were dismissed on Oct. 19 for Jonathan T. Bergesch, age unknown, McAlester.
