A Hartshorne man was arrested and charged for concealing items that were stolen from a medical marijuana dispensary.
Aubry C. Gibson, 26, faces a maximum of two years imprisonment after being charged with felony knowingly concealing stolen property, according to documents filed Tuesday in Pittsburg County District Court.
A police report filed in the case states Gibson was charged after police arrested the man on an unrelated charge. After his arrest, police found in a bag Gibson was carrying suspected missing items from the dispensary Aug. 21 dispensary burglary. According to the report, a container that contained “a bunch of seeds” was taken from the dispensary.
The items were taken back to the dispensary where the owner identified the items as the items that were taken, the report states.
Court documents show Gibson accepted a plea deal in March where he was sentenced to a five-year deferred sentence after being charged for a burglary at Lindley’s Grocery in Hartshorne.
