Crowder was one of five local teams to advance to regionals this past week. 

Red Oak, Kiowa, Stuart, Crowder and Clayton/Moyers are all district-bound.

Four of the five teams hosted and won its district tournament this past week, putting themselves one step closer to state. Red Oak had a bye into the regionals.

The following is a roundup of local scores from this past week.

April 15

Canadian 11, Moss 9

The Cougars (9-16) edged the Pirates (9-12) despite jumping out to a 7-0 lead at one point. Cole Crabtree was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. Dalton Lenox went 1-for-3 with an RBI and three runs scored. Jake Brewster was 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored. Isaac Tanner was 1-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored.

Andrew Ibarra went 2-for-2 with two RBIs and a run scored. Cole Smith was 0-for-2, but scored twice. Tucker Brown went 1-for-3 with three runs scored. Tanner Ross was 2-for-4 with an RBI, and Kason Pruitt went 1-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored.

Vanoss 14, Calvin 0

Hartshorne 12, Wister 0, Top of the Third

The Class 2A-No. Miners (13-10) scored 11 in the bottom of the second to pull away. Easten James was 2-for-2 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Wyatt Baker, Trent Clunn and Xavier Fraser all scored twice each.

Sean Horstman got the win for the Miners. A two-out walk in the top of the first prevented him from having a perfect game, but Wister still went 0-for-9 against him. Horstman threw 49 pitches and struck out four, needing just 49 pitches.

Tushka 8, Kiowa 6

The Class B-No. 12 Cowboys (19-8) jumped out to a 2-0 lead, but gave the lead right back in the bottom of the first. They trailed, 8-3, and tried a comeback, but couldn't tie or take the lead.

Cache Stone and Wyatt Gardner each homered for the Cowboys. Stone was 3-for-4 with two RBIs and three runs scored. Gardner was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI. Dalton Swann was 2-for-4 and knocked in two.

Colton Ray took the loss. Ray threw 80 pitches in four innings. He gave up eight runs, four earned, walking three and striking out one. Ray surrendered two home runs.

Rattan 2, Red Oak 0

Hagen Earls went 2-for-3 in this loss for the Class B-No. 3 Eagles (22-8). He did, however, take the loss. Earls threw 80 pitches in four innings. Both of the runs he gave up were earned. Earls struck out six and walked as many batters.

Stuart 14, Wetumka 1

The Class A-No. 20 Hornets (14-11) were led by Caden Hull, who tossed a no-no in three innings on 40 pitches. Hull struck out two and walked one. Connor Clayton went 1-for-2 with two runs scored. Ethan Strobridge was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored. Jaydee Holcolmb scored three runs. Zayne Clark was 3-for-3 with two RBIs and three runs scored. Zack Clark went 1-for-1 with an RBI and two runs scored. Michael Bolte was 1-for-3 with three RBIs and a run scored, while Jared McIntosh was 1-for-3 with two RBIs.

Red Oak bounced back when Dalton Patten threw 100 pitches in six innings for the win. Patten struck out seven and walked five. He gave up three runs, two earned. Patten, Austin Place, Dayson Fazekas, Chance Noah and Preston King each drove in a run. Tanner Hood scored two runs.

Will Turman was 3-for-3 with two RBIs and three runs scored. Brayden Miller was 2-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored. Bryce James was 3-for-3 with three RBIs and a run scored. Aubrey Runkle was 1-for-1 with an RBI and two runs scored.

Red Oak committed three errors, but scored nine runs in the top of the fifth, overcoming 3-1 and 4-2 deficits.

Patten and Place were each 1-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored. Dayson Fazekas was 3-for-5 with three RBIs and a run scored. King went 1-for-2 with an RBI and run scored. Cole Nix was 3-for-3 with an RBI and run scored. Dusty Fazekas was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored.
