Junior Dayson Fazekas got the win for Red Oak in Friday's Class B state semifinals against Vici. The Eagles prevailed, 13-1, in five innings, to advance to Saturday's state championship game. 

Red Oak baseball is headed to its first Class B state championship game in two years.

The Class B-No. 1 Eagles (31-7) run-ruled No. 5 Vici, 13-1, Friday at Palmer Field in Dolese Park in Oklahoma City. 

Junior Chance Noah was 1-for-2 with three RBIs and two runs scored in this game. Fellow junior Cole Nix went yard for a solo shot to left field with one out in the top of the fourth. 

Red Oak scored four runs in the top of the first, and six more in the top of the third. They scored twice in the top of the fifth and allowed a Vici run in the bottom half, but completed the run-rule victory.

Getting the win was junior Dayson Fazekas, who went 2.2 innings, struck out four and walked one.

Red Oak is scheduled to play No. 3 Leedey at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The Eagles defeated the Bison, 3-1, in the of fall of 2017 for their 10th and most recent state championship.
