Hayden Workman

Junior Hayden Workman (33) and Quinton are set to compete in the Bedouin Shrine Tournament this Thursday through Saturday. Red Oak also scheduled to take part.

Two more local teams are taking part in tournament action beginning Thursday.

Quinton and Red Oak took part in the Farmers State Bank Hardwood Tournament at Quinton back in December. The host Savages (5-3) fell in the championship game, while the Eagles (3-11) lost in the consolation bracket.

The two teams are on the opposite ends of the bracket of the Bedouin Shrine Tournament, setting up the possibility the Eagles and Savages could face off in the finals.

Different venues will also be hosting the event. The Muskogee Civic Center, Muskogee High School, Fort Gibson High School and Hilldale High School will all entertain games.
