McAlester High School hosts Murder Mystery Dinner Theater

McALESTER — For one night only, the McAlester High School will host a Murder-Mystery Dinner Theater May 2.

The event is presented by the McAlester High School Drama Dept. and the Family and Consumer Science Dept, according to Nicole Green Cook, MHS instructor and organizer of the event.

The students are presenting the audience participation murder-mystery “The Groom Has Cold Feet” which includes an Italian dinner, prepared and served by the students, Cook said.

“This is the first dinner theater we’ve ever done and we are very excited,” she said.

The show is appropriate for all ages and will be presented at the Lucy Smith Center on the MHS campus, according to Cook.

Immediately following the show, guests are invited to an open house tour of the newly remodeled MacTown Kitchen.

Tickets must be purchase by April 29 and are $15 for adults and $10 for students.

They are on sale now at the MHS front office.
