StarTek returns: Call center open house seeks to lure back workers

ENID, Okla. — StarTek announced the reopening of its StarTek facility in Enid.

StarTek closed almost two years ago with the intention of returning to Enid as soon as a client for the site was secured, officials said.

“We have completely renovated the building and have created a great new working environment,” said Jay Kirksey, senior vice president of human resources for StarTek. “We are actively looking for employees in every category — administrative, customer service representatives, supervisor, management and quality control."

An open house will be held Wednesday, Nov. 6, from noon until 7 p.m. at the Enid facility, 116 E. Randolph. Applications will be available at the open house and StarTek management will be on site to answer questions and assist in the employment process. Job descriptions and online applications are available at www.StarTek.com/careers.

Potential job seekers should have a minimum of six months of customer experience and a high school diploma or the equivalent. StarTek provides paid training and benefits with opportunities for advancement.

“We would welcome back any former StarTek employee,” continued Kirksey. “I think they will find a great new experience is waiting for them.”L
