Bo Phillips


A southeastern Oklahoma native, Bo Phillips will return to his alma mater on Thursday, Nov. 1 for a concert during Eastern Oklahoma State College’s Homecoming week. Phillips is a 1993 graduate of Buffalo Valley High School and he attended Eastern before finishing his degree at Oklahoma State University. The Bo Phllips Band’s hit single “Red Dirt Girl,” reached No. 1 on the Regional Texas Country/Red Dirt Radio music charts in August. The song is from his album “Fishin’ with Grandpa.” The concert is at 8:30 p.m. in the CC Dunlap Field House in Wilburton. The cost is $5 at the door for the general public and free for Eastern students with a valid student ID card. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the EOSC Scholarship Fund. Doors open at 8:15 p.m.
