McALESTER — Two Wilburton High School seniors were recognized as Students of the Month for March by members of the Wilburton Kiwanis Club. The students were special guests during the club’s Wednesday, March 26 meeting held in the Student Life Center on the campus of Eastern Oklahoma State College. Pictured from left are Clayton Wynn and Ashleigh Massey. Ashleigh Massey is the daughter of Ronnie and Toye Massey. She attends Wilburton High School where she is a member of FBLA and FCCLA. She currently serves as treasurer for FBLA and has been named to the principal’s honor roll. She participates in service learning where she has been actively involved in Meals-on-Wheels. Massey enjoys trout fishing with her papa in her spare time. She plans to attend Eastern Oklahoma State College upon graduation to further her education and is undecided on a major at this time. is the son of Karen Wynn and Leonard McClellan. He attends Wilburton High School where he is a member of the Spanish club. He has been involved in service learning where he has participated in Meals-on-Wheels. Wynn’s hobbies include playing basketball. He plans to attend Southeastern Oklahoma State University to study aviation in hopes of becoming a pilot.
