A McAlester man was recently accused of multiple counts of assault with intent to kill.
Jared Shane Moore, 25, was charged July 3 in Pittsburg County District Court with three counts of assault with intent to kill and one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
According to court records, Moore arrived home, at 1200 E. Pierce Ave., in the early morning hours July 3 and allegedly hit his roommate, Casey Ford, with a frying pan. He also allegedly threatened Ford and his other roommates, Ashton McKibben and Felicia Benson, with a knife.
According to a police affidavit, Moore allegedly chased McKibben with the knife and told his roommates “they were going to die tonight.”
After speaking with all the witnesses, including Moore’s girlfriend, Skylar Bonaparte, and some of her children who were at home at the time of the alleged assault, police arrested Moore.
