Pittsburg County District Court logs

McALESTER — The following felony and misdemeanor cases were decided in Pittsburg County District Court Aug. 1- 9. Dispositions include dismissed cases, suspended and deferred sentences and sentences from trials and plea bargains. Listings do not include all court costs.

Felony cases

• Marcus Mapes, 29, Krebs, pleaded guilty Aug. 2 to a charge of first degree rape by instrumentation. He was fined and sentenced to 20 years incarceration, with 12 years suspended.

• Christopher L. Horn, 23, Eufaula, pleaded no contest Aug. 5 to a charge of aggravated assault and battery. He was fined $250, ordered to pay restitution, ordered to complete anger management courses and received a deferred sentence of five years.

• James D. Robertson, 20, Stigler, pleaded no contest Aug. 5 to a charge of aggravated assault and battery. He was fined $250, ordered to pay $3,324 in restitution, ordered to complete anger management courses and received a deferred sentence of five years.

• Timothy C.G. Danel, 22, Hartshorne, pleaded guilty Aug. 5 to charges of leaving the scene of an accident involving injury, driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving and driving with a revoked license. He was fined $1,470, ordered to complete DUI school and received a deferred sentence of five years.

• Mark D. Brewer, 33, Savanna, pleaded guilty Aug. 5 to charges of driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol — aggravated, carrying a firearm while under the influence and driving without a driver’s license. He was fined $3,000, ordered to complete DUI school and sentenced to five years, with three years suspended.

• Jessica K. Tucker, 32, Richardson, Texas, pleaded guilty Aug. 5 to charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and leaving the scene of an accident involving injury. She was fined $350 and received a 10-year suspended sentence. A charge of assault and battery was dismissed.

• Luke A. Homer, 31, McAlester, pleaded guilty Aug. 5 to charges of possession of controlled substances, methamphetamine and marijuana; felon in possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and driving a defective vehicle. He was fined and received seven-year suspended sentence.
