A Wilburton man was injured in a car wreck Saturday afternoon in Haskell County.
Curtis Roulain, 30, was driving a 2006 Ford on State Highway 9, approximately two and a half miles west of Stigler at 3:40 p.m. Saturday, according to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Roulain slowed down to make a left turn when a 2009 Toyota truck struck his vehicle from behind, the report states.
The driver of the truck, Jackie Dennie, 39, of Stigler, attempted to avoid the collision by swerving but was allegedly traveling too fast, according to the report. Dennie was transported to Stigler Hospital where he was listed in stable condition with head injuries, the report states.
Roulain was also transported to Stigler hospital where he was treated and released, according to the report.
