A Shawnee man was indicted recently on federal drug charges after a joint-agency investigation which included work done by the McAlester Police Department.
John Snodgrass, 41, is accused of possessing and distributing methamphetamine.
He was indicted in the case June 12.
“The charges arose from an investigation by the McAlester Police Department, District 18 District Attorney’s Drug Task Force, District 21 District Attorney’s Drug Task Force, Oklahoma Highway Patrol and the Drug Enforcement Administration,” according to a U.S. Attorney’s Office press release.
If convicted, Snodgrass is facing up to 30 years in federal prison and up to $10 million in fines.
Assistant United States Attorney Shannon Henson is prosecuting the case.
