Court Logs June 30-July 2

McALESTER — New felony cases

The following felony cases were filed June 27-July 2 in Pittsburg County District Court.

Xochitl Dolores Paez Ortiz, 43, of McAlester was charged June 27 with two counts of forgery in the second degree and embezzlement.

Dontrell Dewayne Bell, 25, of Vicksburg, Mississippi, was charged June 27 with driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

Jessie Eugene Johnson, 28, of Las Vegas, Nevada, was charged June 30 with possession of controlled dangerous substance, grand larceny and misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

James Vernon Copes, 34, of Kansas City, Missouri, was charged June 30 with possession of controlled dangerous substance, and misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Shonda Crumbley, 40, of McAlester, was charged June 30 with possession of a firearm after a former conviction of a felony.

Jessica Lynn Teague, 23, of McAlester, was charged June 30 with possession of a firearm after former conviction of felony.

Eugene Dewaine Eads, 34, of McAlester, was charged June 30 with possession of firearm after former conviction of felony

Brandon Lee Stamper, 28, of McAlester, was charged June 30 with possession of controlled dangerous substance, possession of firearm after former conviction of felony and misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Blake Andrew Dunaway, 18, of Kinta, was charged July 1 with kidnapping and eluding/attempting to elude police officer.

Devin Mitchell, 22, of McAlester, was charged on July 1 with rape in the first degree, victim under the age of 14, and sodomy, victim under the age of 16.  

Eric Lee Terry, 31, of McAlester, was charged on July 1 with two counts of grand larceny, and misdemeanor malicious injury to property.

Kal-el Antwoine Beckham, 27, of McAlester, was charged July 1 with burglary in the first degree.

Douglas Scott Brown, 54, of McAlester, was charged July 2 with arson in the second degree.

William Shane Waggener, 37, of McAlester, was charged with knowingly concealing stolen property, and misdemeanor petite larceny and misdemeanor driving with license suspended.

Clem Cody Cole, 24, of McAlester, was charged on July 2 with larceny of automobile, and knowingly concealing stolen property.  

Dispositions

The following felony cases were decided June 30- July 2 in Pittsburg County District Court. Listings do not include court costs and fees.

A charge of enabling child abuse by injury and misdemeanor public intoxication was dismissed June 30 for Jacquelyn Christina Harris, 40, of Hartshorne.

Amy Lynn Blevins, 45, of McAlester, pleaded guilty June 27 to two or more bogus checks valued at more the $500. Judgment and sentencing were deferred for two years.

Tara Crouch, 25, of McAlester, pleaded guilty to 16 counts of uttering forged instrument. Judgment and sentencing were deferred for five years for each charge. Each sentence will run concurrent with each other.

Katelyn Michelle Dority, 24, of McAlester pleaded guilty June 27 to possession of controlled dangerous substance and misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Judgment and sentencing were deferred for three years for the possession of CDS charge and two years for unlawful possession of paraphernalia. They will run concurrent.

Adam Leon Ingram, 27, of McAlester, pleaded guilty June 27 for feloniously pointing a firearm and two misdemeanor counts of assault and battery. Judgment and sentencing were deferred for five years for the pointing firearm count and one year for each assault and battery. The sentences will run concurrently.

William Thomas Bolien, 29, of McAlester pleaded guilty on June 27 for possession of controlled dangerous substance. Judgment and sentencing were suspended for five years.

Johnny Wheeler, 31, of Eufaula, pleaded guilty on June 27 for falsely personate another to create liability. Judgment and sentencing were suspended for two years

Joseph Ferrell Bascom, 29, of McAlester, pleaded guilty June 27 to misdemeanor petite larceny and joyriding. He was originally charged with larceny of an automobile, but it was reduced. He will serve a one year suspended sentence.

Briana Bosche Hysell, 20, of McAlester, pleaded guilty June 30 to four counts of forgery in the second degree and knowingly concealing stolen property. He was sentenced to a suspended seven years for each forgery conviction and a suspended five years for concealing property. The charges will run concurrent.
