Pittsburg County District Court Dispositions

The following felony cases were decided in Pittsburg County District Court Sept. 2-4. Dispositions include dismissed cases, suspended and deferred sentences, and sentences from trials and plea bargains.
• Heather Buckner, 29, pleaded guilty Sept. 4 to omitting to provide or minor child and a four-year sentence was suspended, with sentencing to run concurrent with sentencing in another felony case. She was also ordered to pay $14,234.83 in restitution.
• Buckner also pleaded guilty Sept. 4 to assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and a 10-year sentence was suspended, to be served concurrent with sentencing in another felony case. She was also find $500 and restitution in the case was ordered reserved.
• Stephanie M. Martin, 27, of rural McAlester, pleaded guilty Sept. 3 to possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and bringing contraband drugs into jail. She was sentenced to four years, with another six suspended, to be served concurrent with sentencing in another felony case. She was also fined $500. The charge was filed with the prior conviction enhancement for a 2002 drug case resulting in a two-year deferral, and a 2008 conviction for possession of a sawed-off shotgun that drew a two-year suspended sentence.
• Charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, grand larceny, and two counts of misdemeanor malicious injury to property valued at under $2,500 were dismissed Sept. 2 for Dana Jolynne Rogers, 47, of rural Eufaula.
The following misdemeanor cases were decided in Pittsburg County District Court Sept. 1-9. Dispositions include dismissed cases, suspended and deferred sentences, and sentences from trials and plea bargains.
• Howard G. Barrett, 70, of rural Stigler, pleaded guilty Sept. 9 to public intoxication and he was fined $10.
• Charles James Smallwood, 26, of McAlester, pleaded no contest Sept. 9 to a bogus check charge and judgment and sentencing were deferred for one year. He was also ordered to pay $1,274.89 in restitution.
• Rhoda Price, 31, of McAlester, pleaded guilty Sept. 8 to a bogus check charge and judgment and sentencing were deferred for one year. She was also ordered to pay $438.50 in restitution.
• Anna Marie Hammond, of McAlester, pleaded guilty Sept. 8 on a bogus check charge and judgment and sentencing were deferred for one year. She was also ordered to pay $1,404.34 in restitution.
• Cloyce Edmond Willie Jr., 32, of rural Kiowa, pleaded no contest Sept. 8 to two counts of obtaining cash or merchandise by bogus check or false pretenses and judgment and sentencing were deferred for one year. He was also ordered to pay $549.06 in restitution.
• Kevin Shandale White, 37, of rural Stuart, pleaded guilty Sept. 8 to public intoxication and he was fined $10.
• Mark Blevins, 20, of McAlester, pleaded guilty Sept. 8 to obstructing officer and he was fined $50.
• Sara Lynn Langston, 31, of McAlester, pleaded guilty Sept. 8 to a bogus check charge and judgment and sentencing were deferred for one year. She was also ordered to pay $1,718.26 in restitution.
• Ashley Sweetin, of Krebs, pleaded guilty Sept. 8 to a bogus check charge and judgment and sentencing were deferred for two years. She was also ordered to pay $1,140.16 in restitution.
• Jeremy Husman, 23, of McAlester, pleaded guilty Sept. 4 to public intoxication and he was fined $10.
• Alejandro Gudino Zamora, 44, of McAlester, pleaded guilty Sept. 4 to driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and driving with license revoked. Judgment and sentencing were deferred for one year and he was fined $250. He was also ordered to attend DUI school and a Victim’s Impact Panel, and to obtain a drug and alcohol abuse evaluation.
• Rodrigo M. Muñoz, 26, of McAlester, pleaded guilty Sept. 4 to driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and driving without a valid driver’s license. Judgment and sentencing were deferred for one year and he was fined $250. He was also ordered to attend DUI school and a Victim’s Impact Panel, and to obtain a drug and alcohol evaluation.
• Linda K. Lavash, 65, of rural Eufaula, pleaded guilty Sept. 3 to a bogus check charge and a one-year sentence was suspended. She was also ordered to pay $1,708.14 in restitution.
• A bogus check charge was dismissed Sept. 3 for Matthew Chezem. Court costs and the check have been paid in full.
• A charge of driving without a valid driver’s license was dismissed Sept. 3 for Antonio Uribe, 31, of Idabel.
• A bogus check charge was dismissed Sept. 1 for Patricia R. Clark, 33, of Kinta, on payment of costs.
