From staff reports

• Eddie Wayne Morris, 22, of McAlester, was charged Thursday with second-degree burglary, possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; escape from arrest or detention, attempting to elude a police officer, possession of burglary tools, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, trespassing on a train, resisting an officer and driving under suspension.

• Tony Ray Pritchard Jr., 21, of McAlester, was charged Thursday with possession of a controlled susbstance, marijuana; escape from arrest or detention; driving under suspension; failure to carry insurance verification and failure to wear a seat belt.

• James Scarpello, 26, of McAlester, was charged Thursday with assault with a dangerous weapon and domestic assault and battery.

• James M. Gill, 26, of Krebs, was charged Thursday with intent to kill, child abuse by injury and obstructing an officer.

• Amber D. Smith and Loyd Smith, of Rt. 2, McAlester, were charged Wednesday with child abuse by injury.

• Donald Ray Logsdon. Jr., 27, of McAlester, was charged Tuesday with manufacture of a controlled dangerous substance, methamphetamine; and possession of a controlled dangerous substance, methamphetamine and marijuana.

• Anthony Peirce Hollis, 38, of McAlester, was charged Monday with unauthorized use of a vehicle.

• Colton Harvey Staples, 18, of McAlester, was charged April 18 with second-degree burglary.
