The Connors State College livestock judging team rang in the New Year with plaques and ribbons while competing in the 2013 Arizona National Livestock Show on December 30, 2013. CSC was named the overall champion team for the freshman and sophomore junior college division.
The sophomore team swept the contest by winning the swine, sheep, cattle and reasons divisions. Respectively the sophomore team had six members in the top ten and received numerous honors. Coached by Blake Nelson and Chase Reed, competing sophomore were, Megan Skiles, Bowie, Arizona, Bryson Williams, Earth, Texas, Kaitlin Pritchett, Kingfisher, Michael Buckley, Collins, Mississippi, Whitney Andras, Checotah, Tucker Malotte, Adair and Kolton Moore, Cave City, Arkansas. Competing freshman included, Zane Webster, San Simon, Arizona, Wyatt Smith, Adair, Bryce Hauenstein, Pryor, Alicia Castaneda, Las Cruces, New Mexico and Preston Ogden, Quinton. Other team members include, Dirk Murphy, Kiowa, Colorado. Zakary Laubach, Guymon, Morgan Anderson, Tahlequah, Morgan Cook, Reed City, Michigan, Jordan Moubry, Russell, Kansas Clayton Moubry, Russell, Kansas, Allison Tarvin, Mount Olivet, Kentucky Ross Taylor, Okemah, Keegan Vander Molen, Pella, Iowa, Robyn Smalley, Nowata, Paydon Kautzman, Wingate, Indiana and Cassi Allread, Union City.
