Retired Halliburton employees have reunion

From submitted reports

The annual Halliburton retirees’ reunion was held recently at the Bosa Center in Pauls Valley.

The reunion was first organized in 1992 by Pauls Valley residents Port Schnorrenberg and the late Bill Post with 45 retirees attending.

There were 117 Halliburton employees and their spouses attending this year. They represented a total of 2, 532 years of service to the company.

Among those attending was Orville Pigg, McAlester. He had 32 years of service with the company. The most senior employee was Opal Wilson, Duncan, with 53 years. She is still employed.

The oldest retiree was 100-year-old Ambert Page, Marietta, who still drives and mows his own yard.

More information about the reunion is available by contacting James Schlittler, (405) 321-5315.
