Concerning the silhouettes —
I agree completely with Mr. Prince and all the other people who have written in about the silhouettes placed in McAlester. I also think it is a dirty shame that a few people can control everything we do in our cities, states and country.
Why don’t these non-believers make us take down the wooden crosses placed on the side of the roads and highways in remembrance of loved ones who lost their lives there. Maybe I shouldn’t have reminded them, because that will be next on their list. They (the very few) have all the say so and we have none.
I want to know where it says in the Constitution that is right and legal. If it is, why in times past people could display a cross or Christian symbol anywhere or place they wanted and nobody complained or did anything about it. If it was legal then, it is legal now. The Constitution has nothing to do with it, it is a few people who are controlling our lives and they’re getting by with it. Two or three people are listened to and thousands are not.
We’ve got to stick together as Christians and not let them take God out of our everyday lives, we need him now than ever before, the way the world is today.
I am a Christian and a Catholic and proud of it.
