Danny Leon Cloud

Danny Leon Cloud, 51, of Stuart, formerly of McAlester, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2008, west of Stuart.

Family will greet friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Brumley-Mills Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Brannon officiating. Burial will be at San Bois Cemetery in Kinta. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester.

Born Aug. 27, 1956, in McAlester, he was the son of Leon and Shirley Day Cloud. He graduated McAlester High School in 1974 and played in the band and also played tennis. He also attended Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton. He was married to Teresa Sutterfield. He was a master journeyman electrician and worked all over the United States.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa, of the home; stepson, Ronnie Sutterfield, of the home; parents, Leon and Shirley Cloud, of McAlester.

Also, one brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Georgeann Cloud, of McAlester; one sister and brother-in-law, Sherri and Jimmy Parker, of Krebs.

And, nephew, Bryan Cloud, of McAlester; nieces, Shyla Surginer, of Oklahoma City, and Kaylie Parker, of Krebs; great-niece, Kieara Surginer; great-nephew, Cadyn Surginer.

And, mother-in-law, Myrtle Sutterfield, of Stuart, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jessie Daniels, Steve Hammontree, Rick Miller, Jeff Reed, Don Watkins, and Jimmy Watkins.

Honorary pallbearers will be John McNully, Boyd Payne, Bill Choate, Bobby Shumway, and Leon Cable.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ellis and Ruby Day; paternal grandparents, Burnie and Ruby Cloud, and an uncle, Kenneth Day.
