Judy Munholland Suggs

McALESTER — Judy Munholland Suggs, 56, of Roland, died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, in Roland.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Arpelar Cemetery Pavilion with the Rev. Danny Reagan officiating. Burial will be at Arpelar Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service of McAlester.

Lunch will be served at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1098 around noon.

Born Dec. 29, 1956, in McAlester, she was the daughter of Ed and Mary Andrews Munholland. She attended schools in the McAlester area. She was a resident of Fort Smith, Arkansas area for several years.

She was a house wife and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Munholland, of McAlester; one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and John Laws, Fort Smith, Ark.; one son, William O’Nesky, Fort Smith; grandchildren, Ollivia Clark, Fort Smith, Monica Clark, Fort Smith, Aubrey O’Nesky, of California, and William O’Nesky, of California.

Also, five sisters and brothers-in-law, Kristi Munholland, of McAlester, Linda and Steve Bears, of Osage, Janice Munholland, of McAlester, Donna and Larry Mayfield, Madison, Miss., and Jeannie Barker, of McAlester.

And, four brothers and a sister-in-law, Eddie and Donna Munholland, of McAlester, Gary Munholland, of McAlester, Terry Munholland, of McAlester, and Robert Munholland, of McAlester; numerous nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Randall Suggs, Fort Smith.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ed Munholland, and her grandparents, Carl and Gladys Andrews.

Pallbearers will be Dakota Cruce, John Laws, Larry Mayfield, Rocky Chambers, Terry Munholland and Gary Munholland.

    Alyce Yvonne Knight Lerblance was born on November 21, 1923, in Pittsburg, Oklahoma, to Fred C. and Letha Mae Knight.  She was the fourth of seven children born to Fred and Letha Knight.  Alyce grew up in Wilburton and graduated with the class of 1941 and was a graduate of Eastern State A & M in Wilburton.

She moved to Edmond, OK, two months ago in order to be closer to her sons and family members. Bette was born on the family farm near Washington, OK, on March 11, 1930.
