'Kim' Ruth Emaline Anderson

“Kim” Ruth Emaline Anderson, of Stillwater, died Sunday, June 1, 2014, at her home after a short battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Crescent. Burial will be at Crescent Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Abernathy/Aaron Funeral Home of Crescent.

Born March 23, 1939, in Wetumka, she was the daughter of Henry Rayson and Mary Ann Anderson. She graduated from Ada High School in 1958. She moved to Oklahoma City to attend business college and later became a stewardess with American Airlines for two years.

She worked in the oil and gas industry for the next 30 years until she retired in 2007 from IHS.

She was a member of Oklahoma City Kiwi Club (former American Airlines Flight Attendants), she was the president and vice-president chairman of Charity Art Auctions for six years. These auctions benefited such groups as Jesus House, Baptist Burn Center, Big Brothers and Sisters of Oklahoma City and many others.

While working with Kerr-McGee, she volunteered for a variety of city wide charities.

She was an artist herself and enjoyed collecting art. She enjoyed watching thoroughbred racing and spent many fun hours with her friends studying bloodlines and racing statistics.

She was a big Sooner Fan and watched the Oklahoma City Thunder right up to the very last game.

She loved her family and was a good friend to many.

Survivors include her niece and her husband, Laura and Michael Clark, of Stillwater; their children, Marla and her husband, Justin Barnard, Lubbock, Texas, Joshua and his wife, Lauren Clark, Kansas City, Missouri, and Robyn and her husband, Paul Bain, Houston.

Also, her niece, Pamela and her husband, Eric Estes, Fayetteville, Arkansas; their children, Stephanie and her husband, Justin Roach, Fayetteville; Christopher Estes and Ryan Estes, both of Fayetteville; six great-great-nephews, Jonah, River, Shepherd Solomon, Silas and Joshua; one great-great-niece, Anna.

And, her brother-in-law, James McGuire, of Crescent; her uncle and aunt, Daniel and Virleene Boone, Sun City, California; their children, Debbie and her husband, Gary Sinay, Escondido, California, Daniel Boone Jr. and his wife, Susan, Fort Smith, Arkansas, Paul Boone, Escondido, and Brenda Boone, Cardiff, California, and numerous cousins and lifelong friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Henry; mother, Mary Ann Anderson, and her sister, Lou Ann McGuire.

    Alyce Yvonne Knight Lerblance was born on November 21, 1923, in Pittsburg, Oklahoma, to Fred C. and Letha Mae Knight.  She was the fourth of seven children born to Fred and Letha Knight.  Alyce grew up in Wilburton and graduated with the class of 1941 and was a graduate of Eastern State A & M in Wilburton.
