Sandra Kay (Chumley) Tryon, 58, of McAlester, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at here home.
The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Memory Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery with Steve Weeks officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service of McAlester.
Born July 13, 1954, in Houston, Texas, she was the daughter of Clayton F. and Mary E. Davis Chumley. She graduated from Hobart High School and later earned her Licensed Practical Nursing degree.
In 1985, she moved to McAlester and began her career as a nurse at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary. She later retired from OSP and worked for Colonial Park Nursing Center and Country Style Home Health Care. While working she was a member of the Oklahoma State Nurses Association.
She married Curtis Tryon on April 4, 1996, in McAlester. After her retirement she enjoyed staying at home scrapbooking and collecting various items.
Survivors include her husband, Curtis L. Tryon; children, Shawn and Petra Chumley, Tammy and Brad Collins, Anthony Campana, Dharma Tryon and Austin Tryon; grandchildren, Anthony Campana, Hailey Chumley, Kayla Chumley, Nicholas Campana, Emily Collins, Seth Collins and Cole Collins; brothers, Bobby Chumley and Donald Chumley, and great-grandchild, Elianna Dacus.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Mary Chumley, and her daughter, Tina Marie Campana.
Pallbearers will be Curtis Tryon, Anthony Campana, Shawn Chumley, Bobby Chumley, Brad Collins and Donnie Chumley.
