Isaac “Dutch” Hess, 72, of McAlester, died Monday, June 24, 2013, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Brumley-Mills Chapel with Kerry Kirkhart officiating. Private burial will be conducted after services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester.
Born Sept. 19, 1940, in Richland, Va., he was the son of Claude and Hazel (Smith) Hess. He had lived in McAlester for more than 20 years where he worked at Kiamichi Technology Center. He also did lawnmower repair work.
He was a veteran of service in the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Vickie Hess, of the home; six stepchildren; one sister, Claudette Mayne, of Moore; parents-in-law, Bob and Correna Johnson, of McAlester; a special cousin, Dorothy Bowman and her husband, Roger, of Virginia, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Honorary pallbearer will be Luther Carr.
