Meaghan Cathleen Mooney-Hunt, of Wilburton, 35, died Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at St. Francis Hospital.
The family will greet friends from 1 to 5 p.m. today at Jones Harkins Funeral Home, Wilburton.
A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday led by Father Josh Litwack at Sacred Heart Church, Wilburton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, celebrated by the Rev. Josh Litwack. Cremation will follow.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction Jones Harkins Funeral Home, Wilburton.
Meaghan was born May 4, 1977. Her parents were Micheal and Maryellen (Becker) Mooney. She grew up in Wilburton and graduated from Wilburton High School with the Class of 1995. She also attended Eastern Oklahoma State College and earned an associate degree’s in business management. She worked for Pete’s Place, Franklin Electric, Stitch-n-Stuff and Country Style Home Health.
She is survived by her daughters, Hanna Mooney and Madison Hanks, both of Wilburton; parents, Mike and Maryellen Mooney, of Wilburton; brother, Gary Mooney, of McAlester; aunts and uncles, Judy and Bill Robb, of Broken Arrow, Hank Mooney, of Wilburton, and Jana Buck of Edmond; fiancé, Chad Browne, of Wilburton; several half-brothers and sisters; cousins, Will and April Robb, of Choctaw, Heather and Boyd Jones, of Muskogee, Shannon and Mark Dreadfulwater, of Tahlequah, Hilary Mooney, of Colorado Springs, Colo., Hank and Anna Eakle, of Broken Arrow, Devin Mooney, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mary Beth Rogers, of Rochester, N.Y.; and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert and Harriet Becker; paternal grandparents, Orvial and Elaine Mooney, and aunt, Kathy Rogers.
Pallbearers will be Donny Posey, Deane Messex, Mike Hughes, Lane Browne, Colt Browne and Kevin Mathis.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
