Debra Ann Harris, 47, of McAlester, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at the Rainbow Terrace Care Center in Weleekta.
The family will greet visitors Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bishop Funeral Home in McAlester. Graveside services are Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Linn Cemetery in Madill with the Rev. Larry Smart officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Bishop Funeral Home of McAlester.
She was born May 9, 1965, in Madill, Okla., to Floyd Cecil and Emma White Harris. She moved to Pauls Valley when she was 6 years old and then to Wetumka, where she lived for several years. She enjoyed gardening and doing crafts.
She is survived by her mother, Emma Loyd, of Ardmore; four sisters and spouses, Linda and Eli Posey, of Madill, Janet Davis and Chuck Walker, of Kingston, Sandra Trueblood, of McAlester, Donna Connel, of Madill; and 10 brothers and spouses, Phillip Harris, of Helena, Don and Becky Harris, of Mansville, Bob Harris, of Howe, Wes Harris, of Ardmore, Ronnie Harris, of Madill, Jerry and Donna Harris, of Norman, David Harris and Donna Phillips, of Waxahachie, Texas, Jeff and Michelle Harris, of Madill, Harold Howard, of Ardmore, and Luke Hare.
Also, a sister-in-law, Teresa Harris, of Waxahachie, Texas; a step sister, Anita Burke; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Harris, her step father, Ivan Loyd; and a brother, Michael Anthony Harris.
