Dwight Howard Spear, 92, of Quinton, died Monday, April 21, 2014, in Midwest City.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Mallory Chapel, in Stigler, with the Rev. Dennis McClard officiating. Burial will follow in Quinton City Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.
He was born November 25, 1921, in Sallisaw to Silas and Ruby Floyd Spear. He was a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by sons, Tracey Spear, and wife, Patricia, of Norman, and Gary Spear, of Oklahoma City; brothers, Nathan Spear, of Orlando, Fla., Jack Spear, of Edmond, and Robert Spear, of Shawnee; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Estelle Spear; parents, Silas and Ruby Spear; and sister Priscilla Hamilton.
Pallbearers will be Jim Wimberly, Dyrl Miller, Fred Russell, Don Wright, Chris Hoag and Dennis Robinson.
