LaHoma Jean Rowell, 73, of McAlester, died Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at her home.
Funeral services were Monday at Arpelar Cemetery Pavilion with the Rev. J.T. Carnell officiating. Burial was at Arpelar Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service of McAlester.
Born June 29, 1940, in Indianola, she was the daughter of Lloyd and Gladys Gray Rowell.
She attended schools in the Indianola area.
She was involved in sales in her early life, such as Tupperware. While living in California she worked at the Calmar Factory, which produced Jergens lotion.
She spent 19 years in California and moved back to McAlester in 1978.
She enjoyed her flower gardens and her dogs.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Paul Russell, Arlington, Texas; two sons, Anthony Hatfield, Burleson, Texas, and Randy Hatfield, Burleson, Texas.
Also, grandchildren, Jennifer Hatfield, Laura Hatfield and Coy Wilson; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Dee and Bob Castellion, of McAlester, and Murietta Matlock, of McAlester; one brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Lavon Scott, of Kiowa; numerous nieces and nephews, and special friend, Patsy Lott, of Scipio.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather, R.B. Scott.
