McALESTER — Sharon Gail “Momma” “Granny” “Nana” Mosley-Sealey, 55, of McKinney, Texas, died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, in Dallas, Texas.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in McAlester with Apostle Thomas Brown officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service of McAlester.

Born July 13, 1958, in McAlester, she was the daughter of the Rev. Earl and Odessa Mosley. She was baptized at a very early age and was a member of Mount Triumph Baptist Church, where she served and attended for many years.

She graduated from McAlester High School in 1976 then moved to Norman in 1982. She attended the University of Oklahoma prior to beginning her career working for the State of Oklahoma. She dedicated nearly 20 years to the state providing care for both adolescent and geriatric patients as a mental health specialist.

She was educated at Moore Norman Technology Center in Norman, where she obtained her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) degree and later her Registered Nursing (RN) degree from Platt College in Oklahoma City. She then moved to Texas to begin her career as an instructor for nursing at North Texas Job Corp. While working, her health begin to decline after battling with congestive heart failure from 1998.

Survivors include four children, Myron and Lynn Mosley, McKinney, Texas, Kent and Johnna Mosley, of Norman, Chantea’ Mosley, Frisco, Texas, and Ericka Mosley-Sealey, McKinney, Texas; six grandchildren, Cory Mosley, Adrian Martin, Mylin Mosley, Kent O. Mosley, Kylee Mosley and Addison Mosley.

Also, seven sisters, Mozella Chism, of McAlester, Mary and Randy Petit, of Tulsa, Margaree and Wendell Dorsey, Fort Worth, Texas, Ann Walker, of McAlester, Cynthia and Daniel Woodford, Gainesville, Va., Thressa Debritowhite, of Tulsa, and Deborah and James Mosley-Heath, Upper Marlboro, Md.

And,  six brothers, Chuck and Sherry Mosley, Sacramento, Calif., Reedie and Rose Mosley, of Lawton, Walter and Wilma Mosley, of Edmond, William and Ann Mosley, of Norman, John and Pat Mosley, of St. Augustine, Fla., and Manuel and Sonja Mosley, of Frisco, Texas, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Erick Wayne Sealey; her parents, the Rev. Earl and Odessa Mosley, and her brother, Earl Mosley Jr.
