Linda Joyce Johnson, 69, of McAlester died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, at her home.
The family will receive visitors from 2 until 3 p.m. Sunday at Bishop Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday at Oakhill Cemetery, officiated by the Rev. David Stanfield.
Services are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home.
Born April 15, 1944, in McAlester, she was the daughter of Clifford E. and Mary Elizabeth Trotter Hensley.
She graduated from McAlester High School.
She married Richard Johnson on May 9, 1970.
She was employed by the Oklahoma State Department of Human Services as a secretary for 35 years.
She enjoyed her children and grandchildren and keeping up with the activities of her grandchildren. She also enjoyed crocheting, cross-stitching projects, reading, playing online bingo, watching Oklahoma City Thunder games and University of Oklahoma football games.
She is survived by her husband Richard Johnson, of the home; daughter, Angela D. Gallegos and husband, Richard, of Calera; son, Monty C. Johnson, of McAlester; grandchildren, Cody Rich of Bokchito, Mikaela Rich of Calera, Mylan Johnson of McAlester, and Mason Johnson of McAlester; sister, Betty Morris, of Durant; and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Mary Hensley.
