Marion Lucille Smith, 52, of Hartshorne, died Sunday, April 7, 2013, at her home.
Family memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne.
Born Sept. 10, 1960, in Columbia, S.C., she was the daughter of Louis E. and Anna Marion (Leisenring) Frere. She had lived in different places throughout her life and had been in Hartshorne for the past year. She married James Smith on Aug. 6, 2010, in Sierra Vista, Ariz.
She had worked as an office manager for a non-emergency medical transport company for several years before coming to Hartshorne to be near family.
Survivors include her husband, James Smith, of the home; children, Christopher Lewis, Crystal Lewis, Kaitlin Smith and Jacob Smith; her mother, Anna Marion Kempf, of California; her father, Louis E. Frere.
Also, bothers, Lou Frere, of California, John Frere, of Arizona, Lee Federico, of California, and Joe Federico, of California; sisters, Corina Brown and her husband, Thomas, of Hartshorne, Renai Durst, of Washington, and Stephanie Ahrens, of Arizona; foster brother, Percy Billman, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Loretta Federico and Benai Frere.
