Tammy Lynn Ketchum

McALESTER — Tammy Lynn Ketchum, 54, died July 26, 2012, at her home in Ulan.

The family will receive visitors from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday at Bishop Funeral Home. Services are set for 10 a.m. Monday at Northside Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. Brian Smith officiating. Interment will be at Choate Prairie Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service.

She was born on Jan. 23, 1958, in Modesto, Calif., to Jim and Barbara Musser Smithhart. She married Billy Ketchum on Feb. 6, 1988, in Indianola. Tammy was a member of the Northside Assembly of God Church. She was a beautician for about 10 years and worked for the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority as a toll collector until 2008. She enjoyed riding her horses and sewing. Tammy also enjoyed the trips she took to Branson, Mo.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Ketchum, of the home: a daughter, Laci Ketchum, of Ulan, and a son, Keith Isom, of Ulan; two brothers, Michael Smithhart, of McAlester, and John McKendrick, of Ulan; four sisters and brother-in-laws, Suzanne and Ron Wilson, of Longtown; Jessica Green, Shawn and Rob Wooten, of Nashville, Tenn., and Annette and Darren Harber, of  Wilburton; a mother-in-law, Minnie Crenshaw, of Ulan; special friends, Carmen Smith, of Bristow; Linda and Trisha Walden, of Wister, and Carlene Ketchum, of Ulan; nephews Ronnie Wilson, Dristan Harber, Kody McKendrick, Kayleb Ketchum, Jacob Ketchum, Leslie Standstipher, Kirby Ketchum and Cody Ketchum; nieces Tisha Brillo, Tanya Condrey, Lindsey Wilson, Skyler Iskey, Kelci McKendrick, Adriel Harber, Katie Talley and Michelle Ketchum.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jim Smithhart and Barbara McKendrick; her stepfather, John McKendrick; her first husband, Charles Isom, and a niece, Tiffany Brown.

Active pallbearers are Sam Walden, Carmon Brillo, Neil Ketchum, Kendall Ketchum, Kayleb Ketchum and Ron Wilson.

Honorary pallbearers are Jacob Ketchum, Kenny Doyle, Rob Wooten, Eric Bridgman and Ronnie Wilson.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service of McAlester.
