Regina Kay Shearn, 60, died Friday, May 31, 2013, in Arkansas.
A private burial was at held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Born Nov. 12, 1952, in Oklahoma City, she was the second child of Jane Shearn (formerly Juliana Jane Schillinger, of Tulsa) and Francis Joseph Shearn, of McAlester.
She was an artist and created a few detailed pen and ink desert drawings.
She entered college to become an architect but instead obtained a bachelors and masters degree in special education.
She taught special education in Houston, Texas and in Fort Smith, Ark.
She is survived by her brother, Michael, and sister, Julie.
She is preceded in death by one brother, Patrick; grandparents, Joseph Shearn and Lillian Burkhardt Shearn; and one aunt, Mary Shearn.
