Jesse Dillon Runyon,17, of Bonham, Texas, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, near Bonham.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham,Texas.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Seventh and Main Baptist Church, in Bonham, Texas, officiated by Jered Hudson. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. at Ashland Cemetery, Ashland.
Funeral services are under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home.
Born Dec. 21, 1994, in McAlester, he was the son of Anthony “Tony” Runyon and Melanie Alicia Roberts Runyon.
He was a senior at Bonham High School and had participated in FFA and band. He enjoyed welding.
He was an avid outsdoorsman and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outside.
He had recently worked at Burger King in Bonham, Texas.
He is survived by his father, Tony Runyon and wife, Kamy, of McAlester; mother, Melanie Griffin and husband, Kavin, of Bonham, Texas; one brother, Cody Runyon, of McAlester; stepsisters, Jovie Runyon, of McAlester, and Ellie Griffin, of Forney,Texas; grandparents, Jimmy and Kay Roberts, of McAlester; and great-grandparents, L.D. and Alice Roberts, of Ashland.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.L. and Jessie Faye Taylor; grandmother-Markeeta Sevall; and great-grandmother, Dillian Thompson.
Pallbearers will be Kollin Frazier, Brett Parker, Casey Sizemore, Dillon Fondren, Justin Haggard, and Justin Stafford.
