— Jerry C. Gragg, 78, of Dow, died Tuesday, July 8, 2014, near his home.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in Hartshorne.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Bache-Red Oak Cemetery with the Rev. Kenny Morrow officiating. Military honors will be provided by Robert B. Thomas Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1098 of McAlester. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne.

Born Nov. 27, 1935, in Haileyville, he was the son of Cleadis and Martha E. (Shiflett) Gragg. He married Susan Marie Battles in July 1970, in Center, Texas.

He served in the United States Navy, was a Mason and enjoyed fishing, traveling, watching the Dallas Cowboys and visiting with family.

Survivors include children and spouses, Jerry Gragg, Sue and Sammy Sweetin, Pat and Mike Honaker, Frankie and Emma Thomason, Gail and Brad Camp, Tommy and Brenda Thomason, and Eddie and Dorothy Thomason; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Also, brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Alice Gragg, Tom and Jan Gragg, Don and Pat Gragg, Ron Gragg, Romas and Susan Gragg, and Bob and Teresa Gragg; sister and brother-in-law, Romarie and Kenny Morrow; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends, and aunt and uncle, June and Roy Evans.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Marie Gragg; son, James Gragg; parents, Cleadis and Martha Gragg; brother, Rodger Gragg, and sisters-in-law, Dianne Gragg and Virginia Gragg.

Pallbearers will be his brothers, Richard Gragg, Tom Gragg, Don Gragg, Ron Gragg, Romas Gragg and Bob Gragg.

Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
