Nancy Dromgold, 64, of Hartshorne, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at home.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Frink Baptist Church with the Revs. James Collins and Monte Thompson officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne.
She was born on Nov. 10, 1949 in Harrisburg, Pa. to Eugene M. and Rebecca (Wilson) Rote. She grew up in Pennsylvania, graduated from high school and then earned two associate degrees, in bookkeeping and accounting. She married Jesse Dromgold on Aug. 17, 1969, in Blain, Pa. and they soon moved to Louisiana for a brief time before returning to Pennsylvania. She and her husband moved to Hartshorne in 1979 establishing the Blue Valley Ranch. In 1987, she and her husband began the Blue Valley Cattle Company. She worked for H&R Block for 25 years and for even years she ran her own business, J & D Business Services, in Hartshorne. She has been a bookkeeper for the Beauty College, Nix Chevrolet and for the year worked Duraline. She was a cheerleader for her children and enjoyed watching her grandchildren’s sporting events. She was an accomplished artist, a painter and a cake decorator. She was a member of the Frink Baptist Church and enjoyed to sing at all the church activities.
She is survived by her husband, Jesse Dromgold; daughters, Karin Klaeger, and husband, David, of Medicine Lodge, Kans., Stacey Bolding, of McAlester; son, Will Dromgold, and Kathy, of Hartshorne; grandchildren, Tate Durant, Karlie Klaeger, Lauren Klaeger, Tessa Klaeger, Brayden Hoffman, Ty Hoffman, Tenley Bolding, Lori Dromgold, Cole Dromgold; brothers, Alan Rote, and wife, Bobbi, of Broken Arrow, Rick Rote, of Hartshorne; niece, Angie Line; and nephew, Jeremy Rote.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Honorary pallbearers are Pete Bennett, Greg Smith, Jimmy Adams, Pat Windham, Harry Blucher, Shawn Bennett, Joe Collins and Allan Ray.
