Steven Rackley

McALESTER — Steven Rackley, 52, of Wilburton, died Thursday, July 1, 2010, in Oklahoma City.

Visitation will be today from 2 to 5 p.m. and Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel  with Ricky Rickman officiating. Burial will be at Gowen-Cambria Cemetery under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne.

Pallbearers include Dwayne Mordecai, Lester Kroft, Bobby Dalpoas, Darrel Casteel, Kevin Morgan, Michael Tomlin

He was born Dec. 10, 1957, in Santa Monica, Calif., to Harry and Carmen (Morales) Rackley.  He had lived in Oklahoma City most of his life and married Alice Pate on July 4, 2005, in Wilburton. At that time, they made their home in Hartshorne and Wilburton, and were in the process of moving to Oklahoma City when he died. He had worked for Cain’s Coffee for 20 years and was also a diesel mechanic and recently had worked in the oil and gas fields. He also served in the U. S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Rackley, of the home; one son, Steven Chase Rackley, of Oklahoma City; stepchildren, Michael Tomlin and his wife, Veronica, of Wilburton, Daniel Tomlin and his wife, Twanette, of Wilburton; four stepgrandchildren, and parents, Harry and Carmen Rackley.

Also, brothers and sisters, Mary and Brian Brown, of Moore and their children, Kevin, Tommy and Doug, Debbie Arreola, of Oklahoma City and her children, Joshue and Tara, Tony and Sheryl Rackley, of Oklahoma City, David Rackley of Oklahoma City and his children, Ryan and Tianna, Christy and Jimmy Garcia, of Arizona, and their children, James, Celina and Alyssa, Cindy and Marty Johnson and their children, Marissa Rackley, Tiffany and Chaz Johnson, Johnny and Stacey Rackley, of Oklahoma City and their children. Samantha, Cody and Dustan, and several great-nieces and nephews.
